Hi, my name is Matus.

For the past 16 years, I’ve been running my own construction company in England. Most of my friends from back home are architects, structural engineers, structural designers, and property developers.

When I started out, I had to learn a different method of building using different materials. That’s because in the UK, traditional building methods use cavity walls, timber flooring and plasterboard partitions. This is actually an inferior way of building compared to construction in my country.

Through the years, I’ve been giving my customers a better build by using superior materials and giving additional support, extra durability and a finer finish. This ensures that my work lasts longer than my competitors and I can offer my clients an extended guarantee. At the end of the day, my customers’ satisfaction results in my own job satisfaction.

Over the years, I’ve enjoyed working in the UK and building a business through referrals from so many satisfied customers. But the materials available and the existing construction methods have always limited the scope and standard of my work.

Every time I complete a job – whether it’s an extension, a conversion, basement or a refurbishment – I walk through the property with the customer to check all the details of the finished build. Although they are always satisfied with the standard of my work, they sometimes ask me the following questions:

  • Why can hear the TV through the walls?
  • Why can’t I hang heavy shelving on this wall?
  • Why can’t I hang a TV on this partition wall?
  • Why can I hear the person upstairs walking around when I’m in the living room?
  • Why do the stairs creak when I walk on them?
  • Why did the leak in my upstairs bathroom destroy my kitchen ceiling?

My answers are always the same:
“This is the way that this house is built.”

But now I can offer a solution to the problems above. I can offer you a house that is built in a superior way with stronger, more durable materials. Owning a house like this is a completely new experience and the extra expense you incur when building it, you end up saving countless times over with lower energy bills and lower maintenance costs. Plus, the lifespan of your property is much longer.

This superior construction method uses materials such as brick walls instead of plasterboard walls; concreate floors throughout the house instead of timber floors suspended over a void; solid insulated external walls that are jet washable and low maintenance rather than cavity walls that are designed to leak and require painting and maintenance.

This superior construction method enables you to enjoy a waterproof, soundproof, low maintenance home that doesn’t leak or creak. And because the homes built in this way are well insulated, they get a high EPC rating, so you also save on your energy bills.

WHY DRAGON HOMES?

Unlike the dragons found in the western culture, Chinese dragons are noble, playful and wise creatures. The dragon embodies the natural forces of nature and symbolises – among other positives – power, excellence, greatness, perseverance, intelligence, energy, and optimism.

Associated with spring rains and water, the Feng Shui dragon is a powerful symbol of strength, abundance, fertility and prosperity. Used appropriately in your home, the dragon can activate any of these energies. Take care to place the symbol in an area of open space with good “chi” or flow and below eye level.
